Students and graduates at the School of Natural Healing are doing amazing things as they continue Dr. Christopher’s Legacy
of helping those around them live happy and healthy lives.
Some of our graduates have opened their own health food stores, some are formulating for herb or essential oil companies, others are spearheading health expos, teaching classes and offering private tutorial sessions. One of our students teaches herbal first aid in his high adventure classes.
Education from the School of Natural Healing will absolutely help tackle issues that arise with friends and family, but beyond that, this information can be used in whatever role you find yourself. We hope you enjoy this experience from one of our Master Herbalist graduates, Michael Citarella, who is sharing his herbal knowledge daily to bless everyone he meets.
“I work in a group home with residents who have developmental disabilities. I work at night and often we get relief people to help us. About 2 months ago, I was working with a 35 - 40-year-old lady who, when I came into work, was sprawled out on the comfortable recliner. I said, "Good Evening" and she "What is so good about it?"
She proceeded to tell me that she has been working at this other home for about 6 months while they are looking for workers. She mentioned her back pain, down to her feet. I asked some questions about what caused the pain and how long it has been hurting. She mentioned that she has 4 wheelchair residents and 1 hoist resident and complained that she needs to leave because this is too hard on her body.
I asked her if she would mind trying Dr. Christopher's Cayenne Heat Ointment? She said, “anything to help.” As I was getting the ointment together, I told her about the Complete Tissue and Bone ointment and said I would be using it with the Cayenne Heat ointment. I put on blue gloves and applied the ointment to her lower back then did not see her for the next five hours as I went about my work.
When I next saw her, she said, “Mr. Mike where can I get this ointment?” She took out her cell phone and ordered both the Complete Tissue and Bone and the Cayenne Heat Ointments. She was very happy and relieved.
The next week, she received the ointments, was using them, and was very appreciative. This time
when I saw her, her feet were hurting. I gave her a reflexology session and applied the Cayenne Heat and Complete Tissue ointments. She said, “Mr. Mike this stuff really works.” I gave her the Herbal Legacy website and other information. She thanked me, and then thanked me again when she left the shift. I have not seen her since.
I am very thankful to be called an "Herbalist” because
of the excellent training that I received at the School of Natural Healing.”
We love hearing from our students and graduates and are so grateful for the ways they are helping their communities live happy, healthy lives!
