How do we describe a father? The word father is used as a label at times to honor someone who has been outstanding in his field. Hippocrates is known as “The Father of Medicine.” James Maddison is referred to as the “Father of the Constitution.” On Father’s Day we honor our
fathers who may not have a fancy title but are loved and appreciated anyway.
Fathers
can be our childhood heroes and our mentors as we grow older. They love it when we recognize their efforts. Here are 5 things we can do to show our fathers how much we appreciate them.
- Tell them with a note, a card, or a phone call
- Do
a kind deed for them
- Fix dinner for them
- Give them a thoughtful gift
- Thank them for all they do for you
Here are a few quotes about fathers we thought you would like:

"No man stands taller than when he stoops to help a child."
- Abraham Lincoln
"Daddies don't just love their children every now and then, it's a love without end."
- George Strait
“By profession I am a soldier and take great pride in that fact, but I am also prouder, infinitely prouder, to be a father. A soldier destroys in order to build; the father only builds, never destroys.”
- General Douglas MacArthur
"I've said it before, but it's absolutely true: My mother gave me my drive, but my father gave me my dreams. Thanks to him, I could see a future."
- Liza Minnelli
We’d like to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers. Have a wonderful day.
